1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Clarix ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Clarix is an AI-powered prompt engineering tool that helps users generate, enhance, and manage prompts for various AI platforms. The Service operates primarily in the browser using localStorage for data storage. No personal data is transmitted to Clarix servers unless explicitly stated.

3. Free and Paid Plans

Clarix offers the following tiers:

• Free Plan: 5 AI enhancements per day. No credit card required.
• Creator Plan (₹299/month): 100 enhancements/day, prompt history, library access.
• Pro Plan (₹999/month): Unlimited enhancements, Expert Breakdown, Claude Vision, all features.
• Agency Plan (₹2999/month): All Pro features + API access, 5 team seats, white label option.

All paid plans include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Clarix to:

• Generate content that is illegal, fraudulent, or harmful
• Create prompts for generating CSAM or exploitative content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the Service
• Violate any applicable Indian or international law
• Impersonate any person or entity

5. Intellectual Property

The Clarix brand, design, logo, and codebase are the intellectual property of Clarix. The prompts you generate belong to you. By using Clarix, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use anonymised, aggregated prompt data to improve the Service.

6. Claude AI Integration

Clarix optionally integrates with Anthropic's Claude API. When you provide your own API key, your prompts are processed directly by Anthropic under their Terms of Service. Clarix does not store your API key on any server — it is stored only in your browser's localStorage.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Clarix is not responsible for the outputs generated by AI models. Always review AI-generated content before use.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Clarix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 30 days prior to the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
